In 2009 I competed in the 2009 Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma with some of the best drivers in the nation such as Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart's Team, Gary Scelzi, Corey Kruseman, and many more world renown drivers. It was my first experience racing on dirt. It was a great racing experience; I learned a lot and set fast lap times. I also raced in a dirt USAC Midget with occasional testing for team owner Chris Walker. At the end of the season I was in contact with NASCAR Camping World West teams and had the opportunity to drive a NASCAR Late Model # 14 for team owner Tony DeAllesandro.
